With lots of our “under the sea” creations happening, we decided to give the students a different media to work in and create their own work of art. We looked at some books illustrated by Barbara Reid. She is famous for illustrating books using clay or plastercine.
We watched a short YouTube video about how she makes her creations, how she adds texture, details, mixed colours etc. The students couldn’t wait to try their hand at it.
