King of ING

"ing"

King of "ing!"

If you have seen some beautiful crowns come home in the last couple of days, your child might have mentioned that they are the "king of ing!"
This week the senior kindergartens in the blue class and the green class have learnt about "ing words"

If the children write an "ing word" or use an "ing word" in a sentence, or find one around the classroom, we award them to be the king of ing!

Planting Beans!

Recently we have been talking and discussing stages of growth. We have been labeling parts of a flower and learning the steps of growth development.

The green class and the blue class enjoyed planting their very own bean plant in the classroom!

First some dirt.......

Then the seed......

Butterflies!

We have recently had a couple new "friends" in our classroom! We have been watching them grow for a couple of weeks now. We have been discussing and documenting the life cycle of a butterfly!
We started off with four caterpillars and we watched them form a chrysalis and hang in a "J shape" 2 of our caterpillar's have changed into beautiful butterflies! We are still waiting to see if the other two come out of their chrysalis.

The kids we're trying to predict what the butterflies might look like!

We set the butterflies free today!

The kids enjoyed waving to the butterflies as they flew away!
