Hatching day

Our exciting day has arrived! When we got to school, there were pip marks in 6 of the eggs (pip marks are those first holes that the little chicks peck into their egg shells). By 10 o’clock, 2 had hatched.
We could hear the chicks peeping inside their eggs and when we touched the eggs, we could feel them moving!

By the end of the day, a total of 5 had hatched, and when I left, there were still 3 more in the process!
They were very tired after a hard day of work!
