Step Gently Out

It is our hope that on most English days, your child will enjoy some outdoor education activities. We hope to experience and explore the great outdoors despite the weather, and will go outside in all weather (well, not torrential downpours, storms or extreme cold). Please ensure that your child is always dressed for the weather so that she or he might enjoy all the fun.

Today, we read the story "Step Gently Out", which explores the tiny world of insects and how we need to be careful of where we step as we share our world with these creatures. 

Then, we went ou for a walk, being sure to step gently, to see what we could find.

They found a praying mantis on the portable!

They even scraped the ground looking for some earth dwellers.
