Fall investigation

We brought in some gourds and pumpkins for the students to investigate. They had fun looking at them, drawing them, some students even labelled their drawings! We'll continue to look at them, eventually weighing them, measuring them,  discussing where the flower grew from, where it was attached to the vine, why there are lines, etc. Eventually, we'll open them explore what is inside and cook the pumpkin and the seeds. I'd like to make pumpkin muffins in the next week or two, if anyone is willing to come in and help us bake, please let me know, we'd love some parent helpers!
