Feeding our furry friends

With our senior kindergartens, we have read the book Night Tree.

We then discussed how we could do the same things as the characters in the book, and we could decorate a tree in our forest with food items that birds and animals could enjoy. We used popcorn, Cheerios, old bread with shortening and sunflower seeds, oranges and apples. We attached everything to a string in order to hang in a tree.

Once finished, we were off to the forest to find a tree to decorate!
