Spinning things

Some of the students in the blue group have expressed an interest in spinning some of our tops. 

Some of the students became interested in making it a competition to see which top would spin the longest, and record the results. 

Today we made our own spinners using a design, a cardboard disk and a coin.

Then we tested each top to see how many seconds they would spin for.
