Seeds on the move

This week the senior Kindergartens have been focussing on seeds during their nature walk, specifically, how seeds move. We started by reading a book as well as their own mini book.

Then, we began hunting for a variety of seeds.

Next, we sorted the seeds, keeping in mind that some seeds blow in the wind, some rely on animals to disperse them, some float in water, some attach themselves to people and animals, some “explode”, etc.
