On to new things...

As our "pirate theme" was drawing to a close, some of our students began making volcanoes out of different blocks. And we have some real dinosaur enthusiasts this year. So heading in that direction, we will be studying these prehistoric creatures for the next little while. This week has already been a busy one!

The science centre has been very busy with a variety of fossils and skeletons to make that came from eggs.

We made dinosaur rubbings at the art centre.

The green group made a paper mache volcano-which we will erupt either later this week or next.

We did some dino sorting, investigating what each creature ate!

Looks like we have our own classroom dinosaur...a Sebastian-asaurus!

In the upcoming weeks, we are going to set up our dramatic arts centre as a Dinosaur museum. Stay tuned!
