Remembrance Day

We will be attending the Remembrance Day service this Friday at the school. It is a very solemn, quiet assembly. We will be talking with both classes about the significance of the poppies and the somber nature of the event as well as expectations. Each child will be given a poppy sticker. They are encouraged to bring in a small donation that is contributed to the Legion. If there are children who are members of Sparks  or Cubs, they are encouraged to wear their uniform. Families are welcome to attend the service as well.
