Colour is everywhere
Today was a beautiful day to enjoy our outdoor environment. We took all the junior and senior kindergartens outdoors for a walk. Although it seems like a dull, dreary time of year, we were focussing on finding a variety of colours. We began by reading "Bear Sees Colours", and then each student was given a rainbow chip (a paint swatch). Their job was to find a colour in nature that best matched their chip. It was surprising how much colour is still out there. Here is what they found:
