Hatching eggs

WE have set 14 eggs in the incubator. If everything turns out, our eggs should begin hatching the week of May 4th. Each day, some students go to the library, cross off the day on the calendar, and mist the eggs with water. Today, two boys suggested that when they went, they would bring clipboards for observations. They looked at a variety of books, and then drew the stages of the chick's development.

They then presented their findings to the class.
