We had a visit from Mr. Fox. It was an introduction to the mascot and a chance for our young students to see the costume and understand that he is nothing to be afraid of!
One of the kinders got to try on the head.
After the assembly, the red class participated in some team work, building a teeter totter! We had previously read a book called “Balancing Act”.
We worked to balance a board on a can, then try and find classroom objects that would balance.
The blue class got to decorate some sly fox masks!
Finally, we got to enjoy some delicious cupcakes contributed by some of our kind parents!
What an afternoon! Happy 20th anniversary Stonecrest!
