A poppy is to remember

We read the book of the same name which gently describes why wearing a poppy is important.

Everyone then made their own poppies using coffee filters and markers and buttons.

Each class worked collaboratively painting a mural for our poppies.

Once added together, the final product was rather effective!

The students have the opportunity to make their own variation of poppies using a variety of materials (we call it “loose parts”).
